You may have received a leaflet in the post about buying gold, silver & collectables.

It says 'Hello my name is Thomas Frederick Ash. ... '

They knocked on my mums door yesterday asking to buy her jewellery. My mum has a no cold calling sticker on her door. My mum is now scared they will come back.

I have contacted 101 to make them aware and hopefully they can put a stop to this.

Posted here to alert as many people as possible to be on their guard.

They are all at it. Jehovas, cllrs, mormons. The list is bigger than you think.If you don't ask for someone to call on you, then any one that does call on you is a cold caller.

Any religious callers get the short answer "I'm an atheist", that usually gets them moving. Only had one say "have you read the bible?" to which I said "Yes that's why I'm an atheist" :-D
