At present, Teignbridge District Council’s Local Plan target is for 620 new homes a year to be built, which is the minimum number required to meet the local housing need.
Of the new homes, 4,230 are required around Newton Abbot, 650 around Bovey Tracey, 215 in Kingskerswell, 385 in Kingsteignton, 340 in Teignmouth, 915 in Dawlish, 435 in Chudleigh and 2,000 around South West Exeter. These figures include homes that have already been completed or have planning permission.
Who needs these houses? Where are they coming from?
And now,HMG apparently wants to raise the target from 620 to 777 houses a year. Does anyone know why ?
More holiday home for the extra rich to buy.
Anyway, you lot voted for them so why complain?
