Oh just in case any one comes across a border collie please do not take it to mole valley ours along with every other working collie seems to go walkabout they do come back every night for their beds. working dogs won't worry livestock so no issue really. But for a domesic dog yep off to the vets

And I completely understand the absolute necessity of Dawlish keeping its station.  Devon is littered with resorts that never recovered from losing their station, Ilfracombe being perhaps the best example.

Just got back from Teignmouth. A379 into Teignmouth just by New Road is cordoned off and traffic is diverted along New Road and then down Exeter Road to get into/out of the town.

On arrival crews discovered an RTC with one vehicle overturned with all persons free and clear of the vehicle. Not everyone in London gets 'stupid wages', particularly professional engineers (and I don't mean plumbers etc who do very nicely thank you). Professional engineers don't get a penny more than anywhere else in the country, so are actually far worse off in London, assuming they even have a job!! As for the NHS, it may not be a perfect solution, but is still far more equitable than the alternative ...

Never mind what it is called, we had a nice walk in the rain to Red Rock Cafe today and enjoyed our cup of coffee and bread pudding. Well worth the walk.

If the aerial's pointing towards the back of the town towards Badlake Hill,  I think it's Dawlish Relay, and if it's pointing towards Exmouth it's Stockland Hill.  I may be wrong though.

@leatash - someone in my family was also on the receiving end of a similar attempted scam. thing is though she kept a thorough record of where & when the parcel was sent delivered/signed for etc and then argued her case. she won. the person on the other end kept chopping and changing their story re the 'non delivered'item which sort of made the whole thing distinctly fishy from the very start. ...
