Not as far as I'm aware Lynne. I think he may have been ill recently.

People with dogs coming to our coastline is a big revenue earner and to ban dogs from all beaches, in my opinion, would be a very blinkered and ignorant act IF the council did implement such an economically disasterous action. As with most restrictions in the U.K. on freedom whether that be speech, movement or just living your life the way you want without negatively effecting those around you. It ...

Is there any news on the loss of the latest swan due to the staffy attack? Has the owner been arrested/fined? Has the dog been put down?
I'll message you Pea Pod with a recommendation. Look in your in box for my email.
This is excellent! As someone who wears my Dementia Friend badge with pride, I believe that Sefton Hall should be applauded for this. I would also heartily recommend learning more about how being a Dementia Friend can make a real difference.
Thanks Diana - i’ll take a look

What is up with Diana Mond and this persons hangup with DEEDOODLE?
I like the dog owners who create street art. I mean they pick the poo up then throw the bag into the hedge and it catches on the branch or brambles and hangs like a Christmas decoration until the bag degrades and the decomposed poo falls back for all to walk in. Nice!

As the service will be provided free to its users, and also supposed to generate a profit for the provider and the Council, I am puzzled as to where that profit lies, unless users will get bombarded with adverts.
i’m sorry @Cassandra i don’t know which post you’re referring to.. i hope whoever has them returns them.. my mum is offering a reward now for their safe return x

Crongratulations to Poppadums celebrating 40 years of trading in Dawlish.
Excellent news and a long-overdue dose of common sense on this subject.
Plans for a proposed airshow in Teignmouth and Dawlish this summer have been grounded. Time has run out to put on a show this summer, but councillors remain confident that the show will take place in 2019. I agree it looks unsightly atm, but this kind of pollarding is necessary to extend the tree's life. It will grow again !
Deedoodle/purrrrrfect/etc was referring to me, “with prejudice” it would seem. He doesn’t like the fact that I don’t agree with his many repetitive posts on here. He also claimed to be an ex-policeman, which has been exposed as being a lie.
Not sure it would be a good bomb shelter either to be honest!
When will the Dawlish jetty get the repairs it so urgently needs. How many urgent maintenance issues are there in and around Dawlish at the moment? Easter bank holiday this weekend and what a state Dawlish is in...Well done Dawlish council for all your hard work......I think not. Yes, I know it is not all Dawlish councils responsibility to actually maintain everything, but at least make a noise ...
I see your point but you know how it is money money and it matters not to Network Rail to open the sea wall as they have no obligation to do so it's not like a public footpath it's a private wall.
i have @leatash , it was a joke
Calamari has clearly misread majorp’s comment. Yes, I’m sticking up for you majorp!!
I wonder what car makers are doing this. Diesel has again become a toxic fuel after it emerged car companies were fiddling the results of environmental tests in order to sell their vehicles.
But not as much those cheeky chappies we all know and love (or so I am told) Ant and Dec.
What a lovely idea. Wish my kids were going enough, they'd have loved it. There's some great activities for kids. The leisure centre in particular runs some great sessions.
https://www.devonlive.com/news/anger-grief-sadness-off-grid-1373747 So they purchased the land and built on it. Living of the grid with no mountains of tyres or rubbish in site and are now to have their homes torn down. Would have been better for them to have not purchased the land and squatted on it instead and the council would have built them detached houses on the land free of charge I would ...
