The county has one entry in the top three, two towns in the top ten and a grand total of eight in the top 50. Cornwall also has seven resorts in the new list compiled by researchers from the biggest website for family days out in the UK, Day Out With The Kids.

The other Devon towns in the list are Exmouth (20), Dawlish (22), Ilfracombe (26), Salcombe (29) and Teignmouth (46)
