Didn't for one minute think it did - or why continue with Teignbridge, if you're too ill for school you're too ill to go out and play (as my mother used to say!). It seems that DTC is not a happy place to be since May.
I haven't read all of all the posts above because my initial reaction to the first post ensures a response. The comment by the NIMBY about the new homes being full of people claiming benefit. Thank God for the welfare state I say, I have had the misfortune to be unable to work for the last few months due to ill health. The Employment Support Allowance has helped me keep my sanity. It's not a lot ...
I agree the two events should be separated, not least due to the ill-feeling between the two committees and some very petty behaviour. I'm just not convinced that is the best time of year - although the weather is usually better so it may prove to be a good idea.

Myrtle, you're right up to a point, I know or know by reputation a couple of users here. It can be off-putting but rollocks to it - post anyway. If it's not varied enough then try to improve it. Simples.
Sorry, Lynne I completely missed Rainbow1's posting and assumed your reply was directed at me. Apologies if I came across as less than polite to you - I think I did, typed before thinking! I cannot abide Rainbow1's pathetic posting style and I tend not to see it, my brain has activated a Rainbow1 filter - I think I may allow it to be switched on for a little longer.
