@Lynne If I'm reading this right (and it's a very scrappy note) it appears that he's recommending acceptance on the grounds it's outside the town on a piece of 'undeveloped coast' - no mention of the access problems which plague this area.

It's not too late to put a comment on the website.

@leatash One of those cyclists might be the one we met riding the wrong way down High Street about 9.30 p.m. a few weeks ago. When we remonstrated with him he got quite belligerent & indicated that he wanted us to wind down the window. As we were not quite sure what his intentions were, we drove off, a bit shaken but if we'd run into him, he would probably have said that the car driver was at ...

The Highways issues are the same for Weech Road as they are for Badlake Hill - access is just not good enough at the turning by the Swan pub. Have lost track of the number of near misses I've seen plus pedestrians being scraped by wing mirrors, etc. It's difficult to know how this could be resolved.

@Lynne I suggest you refer to the glossy leaflet that was pushed through my door today. I presume it will be delivered to all households, not just mine.

Hopefully they will still stock the radioactive stuff that turns your mouth and tongue a bright blue colour, a perennial favourite with the kids.

@Lynne I think the statue you are referring to in Teignmouth (Kingsway?) is something of a religious nature, which I don't think applies to the statue called 'Happiness', unless it's the fact that when you see it you say 'Oh God'.

Didn't the Clerk lose his head about 8 years ago during a big storm?

It's a fallacy anyway that you can provide suitable alternative habitat in another place, just ask any naturalist. Once the habitat is gone, that's it, finished, no more bats or buntings.

If it was arson, why has no-one been charged or is there still an on-going investigation?
