Did anyone on this thread actually make a FOI request? I would have hoped that if they had, then they'd have shared the outcome with us all.

It's only been a year since the Red Arrows last displayed at Dawlish... Hopefully the Reds will be back again next year as part of OUR fantastic Carnival.

Well said LN. That post is one of the few pieces of commonsense that I've read on this whole topic (this thread and the multitude of related ones).

The place was full last night for what was presumably the artists preview evening. Like Flo, I'm also a fan of Laura's work and am proud to own some of her work. I saw her yesterday and her latest piece looking down from Eastcliff is going to be brilliant! The detail is ridiculous. It's entry by ticket only Cassandra.  Which will be available to secure via on-line applications later this month. I believe that it's a total of 50,000 tickets over the two days and lots of local b&b's and campsites are already reporting mass bookings for that weekend.
