The report is about pensioners being £9 a week better off than working people. You're not a pensioner and therefore not in receipt of the associated financial benefits of being a pensioner. I believe the answer to your question lies there somewhere.

It's a real shame that what's now an eyesore building can't be brought back to life in its current shape and form. Shame on the owners for allowing it to fall into the state of disrepair that it's been in for so long. As for this proposal, for what it's worth I agree with last years decision that the applicant mustn't be allowed to get away with this without addressing the highways issues.
Thanks for the updates. Good news!
To those against the play park, may I ask what you think the S106 money should be spent on instead? That's not a loaded question, but a genuine request for constructive ideas. Thank you.
Goodness me! Seagulls are making a bit of noise at the seaside?? Whatever next? Penguins at the South Pole? Bears in the wood? Sheep at Warren Farm? Oh... PS I know they're actually Herring Gulls...
There were people onboard the other day who were working hard at renovating it.
My invite to Carer's gay orgy , I mean, "garden party" arrived this morning.
Will, rest assured that the sea wall isn't "ruined" by the very occasional (and always non-Lycra-clad) cyclist. Those that do use it have always, in my experience, slowed right down when approaching pedestrians. And to confirm, in case the water has been muddied, the cycle route will NOT be along the seawall. Which was all you were asking in the first place. So please don't be put off by those ...
That's what UPWITHIT said.
Sorry Monty, you were querying the reason why the licence reverted to its current timings. Hence the link and the explanations therein for why it was found to be acceptable at the time. It does sound like you're suffering horrendous experiences. You have my sympathies.
Did anyone on this thread actually make a FOI request? I would have hoped that if they had, then they'd have shared the outcome with us all.
You never see a police officer from one week to the next, and then all of a sudden there are two!
The best for years - long may it continue in the same vein!
It's only been a year since the Red Arrows last displayed at Dawlish... Hopefully the Reds will be back again next year as part of OUR fantastic Carnival.
It's definitely Network Rail land and therefore definitely their decision to not allow the benches to be replaced. Loving all the shoutiness btw! 😂 Hopefully someone on DTC, unbeknown to us mere mortals, is actually taking the lead on this matter and therefore continuing the good work started by Michael Clayson, etc.
Oh sorry LN, I thought you were on a crusade to stop housing being built. Apologies if I've misread your articles.
Sunny intervals on Thursday and light rain showers on Friday. 😎
Bee9, you're asking me to keep me opinions to myself? This is a forum, officer, and so I'm as entitled to my positive opinions as you are to your negative opinions. What are rates? They don't exist in the 21st century. I pay £1.2K a year in council tax, but don't begrudge for a moment having to occasionally get my strimmer out to keep the grass verges in front of my home looking tidy. Like I said, ...
I thought I'd read somewhere that the money for this project is only available if it's to be located on the Lawn. I may have misread that of course. I've recently wondered a few times whilst taking young members of my family over to play at the park in Teignmouth, whether residents there complained using similar arguments about green spaces etc when it was first proposed? Whilst we had to queue ...
I'm still hoping that this is a spoof. It's not a public footpath, the anglers have as much right to be there as anyone else.
It's the same all over the country. Not just here.
7 agree with your trolling so far. 😭

This popcorn is tasting particularly delicious tonight! The sight of ignorant racists like Burneside and FredCliffe getting roasted is very satisfying.
Don't worry Burneside, we've got Boris in charge of foreign affairs! I'm sure that Theresa May isn't setting him up for yet another great fall... 😂
Positive news!! Stop the presses! This is the reality for nearly all users of the surgery, I'm pleased to say. The moaning minnies who have one of the rare poor experiences are entitled to their opinion, but they are far outnumbered by the silent and happy majority.
It's the Cockwood Summer Festival organised by the Cockleshell Mariners, held on the Cockwood village green from 6pm Theres a licenced bar til 11, BBQ, live bands and children's entertainer. Advance tickets are £5, or £7.50 on the door. No dogs, no glass, no bicycles, no tents (according to the ticket!). Hope you have a nice holiday Stephen.
Interesting that "Dawlish News", whoever you are, chose not to post the whole article. Only the slightly negative part of it... I'm still waiting for FredCliffe to share the outcome of his FOI request that he promised us.
Burneside. Did I write that? No. I was pointing out that citizens of non-EU countries also have the right to ask Google to remove certain search results relating to them.
@S is obviously correct here. the contact centre operator is the medically trained person and it's they who'll ask the correct questions in order to gain the correct prioritisation. That said, if that elderly lady was my mum, I would be very upset at the thought of her lying on the pavement for so long. This scenario is only going to occur more often thanks to the continuous austerity cuts by the ...
Thanks Scapegoat. I had a feeling that Paul wouldn't know the answer...
@S . Lol no, he's clearly the Godfather. Of the knitting circle mafia...
Lisa, a lot will depend on whether the government subsidises the farming industry like the EU does at present. The Quitters have already reneged on their promise to divert the imaginary £350m a week to the NHS, let's hope that the next government (and subsequent ones) don't leave the farmers high and dry.
"Get over it, etc, etc". Repeat ad infinitum...
It will take our country's economy and place in the world absolute decades to get over it. By which time most of those who voted out will be long dead, whilst the young people of our country are left trying to put back together the broken nation left behind by those who voted out for wholly the wrong reasons.
@webmaster . is that an example of "hateful towards other forum members" that you referred to?
What worries me Mcjrpc is that the stupid bint is marking exam papers. 60 hours of ticking and crossing. Bless her. I'm not sure how she copes. Half of the time was spent on a late train though. It would not have stopped her claiming it on her expenses mind. At the real expense of us taxpayers. Still, better an English ticker than a foreign one...
Gracious. All I've seen on here is gloating from the Quitters.
Of course you will. Like you did last time... Your threats are nothing but cowardly words from a cowardly social inadequate. You'll be calling me a traitor as well, I assume?
