An elderly lady has been hit by a car at the entrance of Sandly Lane. The traffic had been diverted but now back to normal. The ambulance took a while to arrive, the doctors that arrived just after said the delay was due to a busy night. They are all still there. Hope the lady will be o.k.
Just been talking to a lady who went down and bought a ticket to catch the 11am train to Exeter on Saturday when the train arrived with two carriages they were already full and everyone was told to wait for the 11.53am. When the 11.53am arrived that was also full. A lot of very angry people including men going to see a special Rugby match, When asked what time the next train was due they were told ...

After reading this on the front page of the Dawlish Gazette it seems not! Subject: Article in Dawlish Gazette Dear Parents and Carers You may have seen the article in the press today, regarding the college’s status The article states that all ties with Devon County Council will be cut. I can categorically state that this is not the case and the college has maintained, and will continue to ...

Interesting comment in todays Dawlish Gazette from councillor Carol Payne, she thought the carnival was brilliant as good as Bridgwater! I wonder has she ever been to Bridgwater carnival?
Exeter Road is flooded, the drains couldn't take the volume of rain. Maybe if the drains were cleared regular or the grass wasn't blown down them when it's beeing cut it wouldn't be quite so bad!

Just thought i would share this message from Dawlish Neighbourhood Police. Over the last couple of weeks I have been receiving reports of dead seagulls being found with apparent shot wounds to them. Yesterday a shot fox was found placed in someone's vehicle in New Road Starcross & another shot seagull was found in New Road this morning. This has all been occurring at the junctions of Well Street & ...
I took this photo of boat cove this afternoon.
The toilets have have been closed all week. Three coaches parked at the coach park, one driver just asked me where the nearest toilets where. I would have thought Teignbridge Council would have displayed a sign directing people to the nearest toilets, which are at the Leisure Centre.
Interesting Carnival Column in todays Dawlish Gazette. The price of the carnival brochure's will drop to £2 each, and the prices of adverts will stay the same as last year. They insist they are not a closed shop and still need help.
Apparently the work will take longer than first thought. The contractors have said more of the wall needs to be removed to complete the safety works and extra scaffolding needs to be brought in. It could take a further three weeks. Devon County Council will not allow any more work to take place once the initial work is finished involving the road itself until the end of September.
Why on earth are the lights on at the Tennis Court at 10.30am?
Didn't Dawlish Community College receive a letter from Mr Clegg congratulating the school for being the best in the Westcountry?
I have added some new pictures. Good to see the Strand so busy on the opening. Maybe pedestrianised would have been a better option and traders could have had a weekly event and perhaps it would have been a better venue for the Farmers Market.
