I took this photo of boat cove this afternoon.

I'd forgotten what a seaside town was meant to look like.

Coryton Cove at its finest.   4 weeks time and "hopefully" the weather will still be the same and I will be sunning myself on the beach.

It's great enjoy it . What a great place to be.

If I could I would happily stay in Dawlish permanently.   I am fortunate enough to have access to a property which allows us to stay in Dawlish every year.   We have spent many happy holidays enjoying both the scenery and the wonderful atmosphere and wonderful people of Dawlish.   Coryton Cove is a hidden gem.    Just hoping that the current brilliant weather will stay for our annual trip to Dawlish.   

Have you noticed on the beach in 2013.. so many people are on their mobile phones? ...why be so attached to it and sending messages to Facebook telling people 'I'm by the sea.' ..does ANYONE care!  Leave the thing at home for a change...reckon people could not survive more than five minutes without one in their life.. 

You are so right . When i was young you had to wait to you got home to use the phone (only bt then) or look out for a red box and hope it was still working.

When i was young there was no phone to go home to.............. had to use pigeons.
