Exeter Road is flooded, the drains couldn't take the volume of rain. Maybe if the drains were cleared regular or the grass wasn't blown down them when it's beeing cut it wouldn't be quite so bad!

How much rain was there here today? When I left this morning it was dry. Been to Bristol and back - no rain. But it is wet here and my garden looks as though it has had a good watering.   

I've just got home from work in Pinhoe and can't believe how wet it is here! Pinhoe and Exeter has been red hot and bone dry! 

We had a terrific clap of thunder and then a downpour with hailstones this afternoon, only lasted about 10mins

Heck of a rush to get the washing in!
