Infections, you mean primarily positive results from tests that are not fit for purpose, in my opinion. The sheeple getting tested for the sake of it just furthers the Governments agenda to strip away your freedoms, again in my opinion. You will be happy and own nothing. Welcome to 1984.
DWLSC presents a demonstration of life saving tonight at 7.45pm at Dawlish Warren Beach. See you there!

How apt! Just as we are being asked to consider more house building in the parish so Devon County Council decides to do a survey asking about pre-school child care provision. I'd say Dawlish needs more as we only have the one nursery at the moment and what with all the new houses already having been built, scheduled to be built, and possibly to be built sometime in the future it won't only be new ...
This survey closes this Monday (2nd August). Click on 'start' at bottom of first post on this thread to register your views.
As all this proposed housebuilding would end up taking away so much of what is presently open country, it's been suggested to me that the present Dawlish countryside park might become the local place to go to find er..........open countryside. So perhaps the park could be renamed : " What's left of the Dawlish country side, park". And on its signage there could be little motifs of ribbons. A nod ...

This morning on a walk through Lea Mount, from the highest point I came across three loud mouthed young males who have made camp with two tents just off the access point from A379. Their two dogs were running amock like they were, shouting at each other. Dawlish has certainly turned into a rather dodgey place these days, in my opinion.
Can somebody supply Carer with an isolation tent then he wont have to risk being part of the human race anymore. What a dribble this non-human is

Well, I guess there are buyers 'out there' otherwise the developers wouldn't build the houses, would they? At the moment (and it has been this way for sometime) the only way affordable homes get built is by way of developers having to provide a certain number of affordable homes per number of open market homes they build. No open market homes = no affordable housing. * And the developers will ...
perhaps the dingy attached to it should have given it away..............
Brexit has nothing to do with the massive lack of lorry drivers in the UK? Nothing to do with the massive lack of hardworking people to pick and pack fresh food from our fields? Right-oh Paul, you're in cloud cuckoo land.
What a great day fot the traffic wardens and teinbridge council to earn more money, strand closed off so even less parking spaces in the town than usual with our highly vigilant enforcers of the law carrying out their duties so "compassionately"
On my way back from Sainsbury at Dawlish Warren around 14:00hrs I couldnt but see so many people walking their dogs along the cycle path alongside the road. I doubt these dog walkers would be able to walk barefoot and the black tarmac at that time of day. So many stupid people around these days.

@ teignpot Your comment has a fatal flaw, in that why should we all "proud" that they are descendents of immigrants, they are just people same as us - no one goes around saying I am proud of descendants of immigrants we just get on with life. I take it your using the royal "we " as you believe all are pround when in fact there are minorities that definately would not take that same opinion.
This weekend we will be showing the Wimbledon Finals on the Lawn Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon - so bring your chair, umbrella and picnic as it looks showers at times. We know there have been questions about showing the Football Final but for various logistical reasons we are unable to. We wish England well to bring the cup home!
