I can see they've started digging the area where the skate park will be but am not sure why they are also digging out at the top of the golf course?!?! Does anyone know what that is for???
I wouldn't want to be in the new holiday homes below the Mount Pleasant, I'm surprised they got planning permission for that and also the car park right below the cliff!!
I've only just recently bought a few things on ebay and my son wanted to sell some nintendo DS games which he managed to get a good price for, you do have to pay an insertion fee and also a final value fee when the item sells but if he had taken them into a game shop he would probably only have got half the price. If you are selling your own used stuff then you wouldn't need to inform the Inland ...
Have a look on the photos, there is a lovely picture of the new baby swans.
Is the skate park going to be where the old play park was or are we going to have a skate park at the top and the long awaited youth centre on the bottom park? The youngsters of Dawlish seem to have been waiting ages for this youth centre! Do we really need 2 bowling greens? Perhaps we could give one up for the youth centre, the one next to the football club would be ideal, it has an indoor area ...
We are thinking of going away in April and wondered if anyone can recommend anywhere. It would need to be sunny at that time of year and ideal for family of five. There are so many to look at online so would appreciate it if someone could recommend a nice resort etc.
How much do the PCSO's get paid?? If it's half the wages of a police officer then I'd rather have one police officer to replace 2 PCSO's. If the PCSO's can't deal with a problem and then have to call on the help of a trained police officer, surely that's costing more!
Why do you have such an obsession with categorizing most of the people in Dawlish as ignorant lemmings?! I take an interest in what is happening in the world and I believe there are loads of things that we need to be worrying about, Russia being one of them. I don't think people in Dawlish are any more naive than anywhere else.
When I went shopping in M&S the other day they were giving their carrier bags away free, they are doing this until the beginning of February and after then you will have to pay for your bags. I think this is a great idea, if every shop started charging for their heavy duty shopping bag and discontinued the free ones more people would re-use their bags rather than keep paying.
REFUSE COLLECTION: We have 2 main bins (green and black) and 2 smaller tubs for our refuse. We have a rotation each week of the green and black bins, therefore each are collected fortnightly, the green bins are for food waste, garden waste and thin card and the black for landfill. The small green and black boxes are for other recycling e.g. milk bottles, glass bottles papers, tins etc.The only ...
Sounds good Boomerang, can I please come with you?
The Holcombe pre school has always had a very good reputation.
The Old Post Office would make a nice Wetherspoons or a yates wine bar!
How do you know it is going to be Tesco at Shutterton? There have been rumours of Sainsburys buying land at Shutterton!!
Happy Christmas Webmaster and to all who post on this site.
I have noticed the plan to turn this car park into a pay and display. My concerns are that instead of people paying they will be parking on the roads in and around the estate causing a lot of congestion. There are enough problems with double parking around the back of Elmgrove which could cause major problems if the emergency vehicles needed to get through.
hi all , i have just recently moved from dawlish up to Swindon, and unfortunatly i won't be watching the carnival this year so i want to wish everyone luck for the coming week and i hope everyone enjoys themselves. Hello to all who know me. Missing Dawlish lots and lots.
