The crossing between Elmgrove Road and the turning to Eastcliff Road. Apparently a car stopped at the crossing and another one went into the back of it. After what I saw this morning It doesn't surprise me!!!

The accident was at the Zebra crossing near coastgaurd cottages, looks as though a car went into the back of another. Walking along the Exeter road in the same area this morning a Dawlish Skip lorry was passing a cyclist at an extortionate speed, if the car in front had been going up Eastcliff road there is no way that the lorry would have been able to stop in time.

The speed some of the traffic goes at along that road is frightening to say the least. Sometimes they are going so fast they can't stop in time for those of us trying to use the zebra crossings (both the one by Elm Grove Road and the one up by the row of shops next to Marine Garage).

It definitely needs a traffic slowing down scheme of some kind.

Imagine what it will be like when the supermarket gets built!

When the super markets get built, (If they do).
Then there could well be grid lock 24/7, especialy in the summer time.
