We are thinking of going away in April and wondered if anyone can recommend anywhere. It would need to be sunny at that time of year and ideal for family of five. There are so many to look at online so would appreciate it if someone could recommend a nice resort etc.

Just thought of another destination! If you can't afford the Carribean you could go across the water to Shaldon or you could catch the Starcross Ferry to Exmouth (alot less driving)

Benalmadena is warm in April but not very pretty more of a town really but does have a nice marina and park and you can get to other places on the train which goes along the coast.
Santa Eulalia in Ibiza is nice great for families but not sure how warm it would be in April. Roquetas in Almeria is also good if a bit quiet, fantastic beach only drawback is you have to fly from London or Manchester.

Hiya,

Es Cana in Ibiza is a great place for a family holiday and the temperature April/May is usually very nice. There is loads to do and great beaches, all the bars and restrants are great value and it is a good all round family resort....i should know, we used to live there.

What about camping on Dartmoor? Should be ok as the weather starts to warm up. I know of a nice campsite near Buckland in the Moor
