There was a debate yesterday about the future of the GWR. Anne Marie Morris made a very good Passionate speech and you  should read the debate In Hansard In Parliament. uk. These  2 studies will go ahead. And you know what they will say, don`t you?.

I know your going to say, serves you right etc.etc. but I went Into the Baileys Restaurant yesterday and had the most vile tasting cup of tea In Dawlish. It was vile. So I went Into the Beach Cafe next door, got lovely food and a lovely cup of tea. It was beautiful. Go on say It, told you so. As you have gathered I am back In Winchester after a lovely break.

@Lynne . Yes you are correct. GWR HST do not have gaps at the top, Cross Country Voyagers do. Why, I do not know.  Just shows you that HST are the best and they were british built.

GWR trains don`t, Cross Country trains(Voyagers) do. They have gap at top of them.

I noticed there Is one next to railway line opposite Marine Parade.

I heard this morning on BBC News, that a man dressed as a clown has been arrested and charged with carrying a Imitation weapon, a knife. I Forget where It was.

Can someone help please. When there Is a link for torquay herald express.co.uk why Is It when I click on link I get lines where there should be text? The others are unaffected.

@Monty . Just found out that there are 2 versions. Herald Express(for Torbay area) , and Plymouth Herald for Plymouth area.

@leatash . Is that on top of your TV licence I pay for my TV stations?

Can Somebody tell me, unless I missed It, seeing that Consertive, Liberal, UKIP are not contesting the By election are Labour going to? Have not heard anything from them.

@Lynne . Its not the building on Dawlish Warren station, is it? Or has that been demolished. Ignore this post if it has.

@Morty Vicker . Exactly. They always make a big thing out of it.  No passengers on HST. Every one is stable in hospital.

@Dawlish News Item. What a complete 100% Idiot. If he was thrown Into sea then Lifeboatmen would have to come out to rescue this Idiot and that would put their lives at risk.

News has just come In. IDS(Ian Duncan Smith) has resigned. He says It Is because of welfare reforms. He also says that cuts to Disability Benefits are Indefensible.

@Paul . just to tell you that a man has been arrested under the dangerous dogs act for the death of that woman who like me was a epileptic, but i do not have fits.

@leatash . South West MP`S are meeting George Osbourne on Monday. Even NR havn`t got the money for there study. NR admitted on Monday there Is a lot of work still to be done on the Dawlish Seawall.

Teignmouth seafront has got a big hole, unless its been fixed.

@Margaret. Some XC trains are booked for HST although not many. Should have more. I  don`t like voyager trains as you have problably guessed. Have a Happy new year.

Trains now running normally. Funnily enough XC Trains are experiencing the most delays.

@BEE9 . There is actually. Go to Dawlishbeach.Com and click on recordings tab at top. Click on september 2015 and wait until Blenheim Cam 16th. September comes up, and it`s part 1 at 1hour 18 minutes on right hand side.

Just as a matter of interest. Where is the post gone about the Dawlish Air Show noise. A woman wrote to Dawlish Gazette saying that the Dawlish Airshow should cease because of the noise frighting her birds etc. It seems to have disappeared.

I agree with everybody here and their comments, and this lady must be on something.

Can any one tell me whats the building on Dawlish Warren station(exeter st.davids side) for? Is It a holiday place or a actual house for someone to move into?

@Lynne . Cheated by looking on Google. Sterling Property ltd. apparently operate in the North West only. as for Safebrite ltd. their registered office is in Greenford Essex. Unless I missed something, which is probable.

Heard today that Network Rail are not Introducing the new trains In the autumn. The £38.5 billion Is being reset. Some of The work they were going to do may be delayed or cut entirely. The electricfication of the line will now only go to Swindon and further on much later.  The East Midlands line, York-Sheffield shelved, as Is the Trans Pennine service. The Great Western services will still be ...

@Brooklyn Bridge . The line re-opened on April 4th. 2014.
