Transport secretary announces £10million funding to protect Dawlish rail line

THE government has confirmed an additional £10million to help strengthen the resilience of the 'vital' Dawlish rail line.
 
The first in a series of public engagement events is held today at the Langstone Cliff Hotel, Dawlish Warren, from 4.30pm to 7pm.

All well and good but they also need to build trains that don't break down when they get hit by waves!

GWR trains don`t, Cross Country trains(Voyagers) do. They have gap at top of them.

I know! But whatever they spend on the line is useless while ever we have Voyagers travelling along the line! But..........CC are about to solve this problem by stopping all of their services at Exeter! So, we won't have that problem after December 2017 but we also won't have much of a service!
