Is the seawall all on one level from the warren to town now or do we still need to carry prams etc down a flight of partially obstructed steps as before the storm damage

To whoever pressed Agree on the post above my previous one, it's definitely all on one level. For the sake of clarity, there are no steps along the wall, only down to the beach from the wall.

Here we go then another Conservative Party jolly. What you betting the usual attention seeking duo of Hockin and Prowse turn up. Plus the other finger licking  incompetents from TDC. Lets hope the tides in and high

The event will take place at the Dawlish station end of the walkway on Friday 14 August and will begin with Anne Marie Morris, MP for Newton Abbot, officially opening the walkway at 12pm. Residents will then be given the opportunity to be the first members of the public to walk the full length of the walkway following its revamp.

Frankly  I'm  rather disappointed that I  wasn't  asked to perform the opening , after all I'm  the biggest name  around here!

And still the king of rock and roll.

Could Elvis Presley sing?  They should have Muse down there, at least they are Local. They come from Teignmouth.

So it's finished now, but we can't walk on it until some Tory has opened it?

@Tom. So if the Labour party were in government (god help us) ,  would you be saying we cannot walk on it until some Labour MP  has opened it?

@stephen15

Perhaps Tom just resents having to wait for a politician to open the wall before he can go for a stroll, and they just happen to be a Tory (Anne-Marie Morris).

And why if someone is anti-Tory are they assumed to be pro Labour?

It is possible to hate the Tories and not be a Labour supporter.

And wasn't New Labour just 'Tory-Lite', misguided but unlike the current government not completely void of compassion for other human beings.

@stephen15

I read the 'if' the first time, so what? The scenario is hypothetical, I was questioning the simplistic view that everyone is either Tory or Labour.
