looks more like an ISIL bride. Although i agree that there will be more deaths down here because of the influx from all over the u.k. Life has to get back to some normality and if there is no increase then good, but if there is the implications will be felt by us living here and the businesses not the locations the tourists came from. Between a rock and a hard place in my opinion.

A few more pics...
Good work PD Arnie and handler. Nothing suprises me about Dawlish these days. A small percentage of the Dawlish community, many most probably known to the local police, make it miserable for the rest of us. About the same every where in this once proud and World leading country of hours. Now relegated to a door mat for the rest of the World's dross who wish to pick up a few quid and do as they ...
Fahrenheit 451! Adolf Hitler! Syria! etc, etc
have put pics of the lethal rebar sticking out of the dawlish beach. you only see it when the beach has been severely eroded, but then they are covered with sea water and look like idylic sea pools. Someone or someones dog is going to end up impaled and/or get a severe foot injury from all the sharp bits of metal lodged in the buried concrete on the beach. Doubt anything will be done ...
And next time China causes another SARS outbreak....I see very little being done by the so called leaders of the free world to stop China from actively causing the next pandemic. If you look at the stats for deaths in 2002-2004 and then look at the current death stats for 2019-2020 it doesnt take a f******g rocket scientist to see the next out break will be potentially much worse.
Will the Government forcefully push track and trace? A once in a lifetime for a Democratic government to push a system of monitoring onto a population.
Grow in population, but sod all else.
@burnside.....we are not there yet. i have no faith in what this government says. i will only believe it when we actually leave and not until. mind u come 2021 the government will more than likely be driven by thg black lives matter group.
New sea defences have been ripped a part by sea erosion and it isn't going to get better anytime soon. http://www.teamvanoord.com/downloads/TVOprofile-Dawlish-Warren.pdf
Dawlish is a bit of a drunkards protected habitat....especially the site of special interest for those looking to observe the drugged up and professional alcoholics on The Lawn. On ocassion you can observe the paramedics trying to extracate one from the public toilets. You would be surprised to realise that this habitat area is also designated a prohibited site for this particular species, but ...
@flo ....i think u have been self isolating for faaaaaaaaaaaaaar toooooooo looooooooooonnnnnnnnngggggg! you need to get out into the fresh air, oh wait a minute you did at the weekend. there's always one who thinks their opinions trump everyone else's.
My neighbour, as i have banged on about before, is getting up to 2 deliveries of shopping a week. i assume its because he is over 70, but he goes out in his car after the deliveries to the garden centre and shops. he goes out in his car at least 2 to 3 times a day and has had family and friends round in his front and back gardens numerous times during lockdown standing right next to them. Just to ...
Those billions of £'s have gone into pockets they don't just disappear into the ether. I am just waiting for the announcement that vat will have to be increased to 25 percent. Oh.......and wait for it m.p's have a substantial payrise to cover their inconvenience for having to endure the covid saga.
A peaceful walk along the beach and bird sanctuary at Dawlish Warren early this morning.
Boris's decision over this self righteous sausage will haunt him to the next general election.
Do people die of covid 19? Or do they die from the covid 19 lowering their immunity to the point that something else is able to take hold? Have overall death rates increased this year, month by month, over the last 10 years. I had a look around the internet and it was interesting to put the covid 19 pandemic deaths into context with all other deaths that occur year on year. Why has the uk been so ...
Well my neighbour doesnt seem fussed. His over 70 and gets up to 2 deliveries of shopping a week, goes for walks into Dawlish, pops off to the graden centre for bags of compost. Has people around to cut his hedges. Had his son come around for nearly a week to put a fence up in his back garden. Both his sons and daughter have brought their young children around who he has touched and breathed on ...
So clear you could see all the way to Hope's Nose
The pics do not do tonights sun set justice, the red/pink was amazing.
@Carer ... good idea, but no one is currently living there
They should not have spent nearly £20 million on that knackered out of date newton abbot shopping centre. seems par for the course with local councils down here wasting money on fruitless projects.
i wonder what safety features are in place if the_ winch fails?
Not as far as my dopey neighbour is concerned His garden is toxic as hell with the stuff he has sprayed on it. He also tips all his garden waste into tha alley next to him. law unto himself, miserable old t@#t.
early today i watched sainsbury delivery of food to elderly couple so that they do not have to go out. then later on daughter drives round with grand daughter to play in the middle of the road, a foot or so apart for the best part of 20 mins before the daughter and grand daughter drive off. why should the delivery driver have to put their lives at risk for these ignorant people! social ...
get the lazy bees out of prison to do it, ffs
A couple of interesting vids, I thought. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfG9nmAnQp4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIHWaaJNktQ
happy easter to you all, what lovely weather for easter and the bird song is amazing. one thing about the pandemic is the lack of noise from car, pkanes etc.
@Dil ...I believe you answered your own question.
It is the same every time instead of enforcing the rules on those dick heads who flout it, they just do a sweeping ban and the dick heads still keep doing it
Interesting vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbO3Nyg2HA4 Don't think as many people are laughing now!
@Daverc ..have to agree with you. Last time it was this natural and beautiful was during Iceland's volcanic eruption. That was a good 2 to 3 weeks of blue sky. Mother earth really suffers because of humans on its surface.
@Robjon ... Happy to oblige.....stay safe.
@Scapegoat ....i do agree with you. To have a proper seal and test the mask for vacume and breath. Also having a clean shave and putting goggles on after you have established a proper seal on the mask. Also the correct type of mask and filters for the environment and that the filters are in date and still viable. Stay safe Scapegoat and all participants on Dawlish.com..that includes the web ...
@jock99 ..well said.
What if your post person is infected? I would have thought someone in that target audience is potentially going to be infected just because of the size of the mail drop. Potential infection period on paper is currently quoted at up to 3 hours, I believe.
As my gran use to say...stupid is as stupid does....I watched several groups of people walk past my house today rubbing shoulders. I will be going to sainsburys next week for my shopping and I will be wearing my p3 respirator and goggles and thoroughly decontaminating my clothes, shoes and shopping when I get home and a shower. Then its in the house for another 14 days. I wonder if anyone picking ...
Maybe our illustrious m.p. could put that forward, oh....I forgot they have just gone off on a months holiday jolly !!!!!!
