We were put into lockdown to "flatten the curve and protect the NHS".  Now the curve is virtually a flat line we all have to wear masks, but didn't when the cases peaked in April because they were deemed to be of little value.  And then there's the little matter of Public Health England having to reassess the number of deaths attributed to covid, due to its ludicrous criteria for calculating the figure, which borders on downright falsification.  I no longer believe a word coming from government.

Have said all along that the people are being led. The media have once again abused their power by using the fear factor of their reporting in order to control the public. In addition the government spouting about it being law to do this and law not to do that again is just a load of crap. Anyone with half a brain would know the proceedure for adopting a new law in this country and the length of time it takes to go through the commons the lords and finally the queen, this hasent happened in a single case. So we dont have to wear a gimp mask to go shopping or restrict how many we have at a bbq, what the government have issued is guidance. This nonesense about the police issuing fines, again rubbish the police cannot enforce guidance only law. Ask Anne-Marie Morris how many new laws to control covid have been passed, she wont answer you. As for saving the NHS the only thing this has saved  the NHS is money just think about how many hospital wards have been closed, how many routine operations cancelled, and how many day case units for cancer care and minor injuries etc have been unused. In fact Dawlish MIU is still closed, Why.  Ask yourselves with all these NHS services suspended what have all the staff been doing. They aint exactly been rushed off their feet have they, contary to what we are led to believe. People start thinking for yourselves and turn off the social media. If Devon Live told you to report to Teignmouth pier tonight in order to jump off it at high tide how many of you would join the queue. The country is facing ecconomic disaster due to this by Christmas there will be over Ten million unemployed, there will be more high street shops closed than open, and they still wont allow you to go on holiday in peace. Oh but they have never and wont stop thousands of Chinese visitors flying into Heathrow every day, nor will they do anything about the boat people invasion crossing the channel. Its all BULLSH**T

@Fredbassett......very true mate, go on YouTube and see it from the mouths of NHS staff that wards have been empty since the beginning of lockdown in many hospitals. NHS staff have been sent home. Nightingale units in total were literally unused.

Now flip that to the suffering and deaths of the number of people who have not been able to get the nhs care they needed for other than covid.

People the UK government is using covid as an excuse for their own agenda of restructuring the social, economic and legal structure of our once proud nation, time to wake up and smell the coffee.

And before any trolls start banging on....yes I do believe covid  was a dangerous threat early on and yes the government has been inept throughout considering we are an island kingdom ffs, but the storm is over and life needs to get back to normal.
