Being an old fart who has had the sad misfortune to be born in the U.K and had to endure decades of bull from politicians. I have slowly, over the years, evolved an inbuilt bull s££t translator. Which has been working over time with politicians saying how the government will cope and the NHS. Batten down the hatches... World War V is here and the incompetent are in charge. God save us all.

I remember the years that some councillors were extremely proud of the fact that they didn't increase the precept year upon year. But they did keep up with pay increases for the staff, and the cost of any services they paid for increased and any materials they bought increased so effectively each year they could do less with the money they had. There should be a small increase each year, the ...
The media are to blame for reporting panic buying in other towns/cities, not just in the UK but down under etc, so it is the old adage, Monkey see, Monkey do!

Nice gesture, but to be stuck in a crowd of people shouting and cheering at this moment in time doesn't seem the best option for your health. Not to mention traveling to and from and using public toilets and food outlets, in my opinion.
Get rid of her and her cronies and get more police now with the money u would save.
Abh = 120 hrs community service, really! Its no wonder this country is going down the pan. https://www.defence-barrister.co.uk/sentencing-guidelines
Joshua Garrett and Ben Bramall had been friends since school and they and classmate Daniel Whitehead became notorious when they were just 16 for being among the first in the country to receive ASBOs. Garrett and his four henchmen were trying to protect a heroin and cocaine dealing business from a London gang which were trying to move into their territory. “Devon and Cornwall Police will continue ...
Am I on an alternate Earth where the reverse on logic and common sense prevails and only evil and greed are rewarded? The NHS has been eroded for decades whilst the management continues to grow like the fungus on moldy meat. Its about time this countries numerous festering swamps were drained and the country was run for the people not the establishment.

https://www.gov.uk/government/news/uk-announces-new-points-based-immigration-system Nice one Boris. Great to have a PM on our side for once. A points based system is ideal and should have been done decades ago. We don't need any more lazy people, we got plenty of our own.
And now we have storm Ellen on it's way.
You should have seen the Brook at 0300 this morning it was at least 12 to 18 inch higher.

You don't need a centre you need coppers walking the streets and gaining local knowledge and the confidence of the local people. The centre will just be a money pit that does very little other than house a group of over paid individuals sitting in sterile environments. It will then most probably be closed after a year or so as ineffectual. Real world problems need real world actions. Just look who ...
