Every year these @#£%S have their raves over a weekend solid....I just get a supply of wax ear plugs and when the booming start I stick them in, sleep like a baby.
BOO HOO's Posts
During sept work will be carried out day and night, five hours either side of low tide. They will be taking continual deliveries of plant machinery and concrete from Teignmouth docks, drilling foundations, etc. Taken from a letter from network rail dated 27 August 2019.
The only reason any of the services are being cut at a local level is because central goverment is keeping more of the cake for their fat arse,s to scoff on. 'The below stations will reamain open' for now. Look what happened when they wanted to sell off teignmouth police station. They appeased a few people by opening a small cop shop on the high street and then closed it a couple of years ...
Thanks ShyTalk 47
c SShame the pic looks pretty poor quality over the original 15.43 mbytes down to around 270k, shame.
Anyone else aware the local gp surgery is now charging £40 for the medical questionaire sent to them by Devon police? Came as a bit of a shock considering the same surgery has not charged a fee for the previous 3 permit medical requests. The shotgun permit is £45 and the police do a lot more work for that amount.
The only way to confirm what has really happened is to record the incidents. This is the only evidence the courts will accept.
Ignorant cyclist putting walkers in danger whilst he cycles along the sea wall between The Warren and Dawlish. On occassion I have confronted those ignorant people who cycle along the sea wall only to be verbally abused and in some cases, if it wasn't for my size, physically assaulted. As long as there is no enforcement dickheads will continue to upset the rest of us, same for a lot of issues ...
@Rob Ring - appreciate the comment. great bike to be hold, may you have many more happy years riding her.
Never in the history of the U.K. has so much been messed up by so few. wait for the next G.E. Millions more voted OUT at the referendum than voted for the conservatives at the last G.E. Reap what you sow comes to mind.
I am sure one of the DDC will be up their pretty sharpish with some dodgey i.d. to claim it...ha ha ha ha!
In the 15 years I have lived in Dawlish the town's essential services have become ever more scarce. Prohibition notices have been placed around the town to stop the minority of idiots, vagrants and alcoholics from being an annoyance, but as zero enforcement takes place they just paint the town as a problem area to visitors. Banks in the town started to close and last year Lloyds, the only bank ...
It would be better if they actually enforced the PSPO's they currently have, before they expand them. The Dawlish PSPO is a joke. There is blatent abuse off the PSPO and very rarely does anything get enforced.
and then takes off a few minutes later.
Pics taken from over a kilometer away, so a little grainy.
The british goverment is like the arabs during the 2nd world war, a bit like a tree in a storm.
At a time when Teignbridge council say there is little money for the district. All I see in the local papers over the last couple of years is tens of millions being spent on Newton Abbot and very little anywhere else. Latest info was gleamed from this weeks Dawlish Post page 5.
Sir Clegg, only in politics can a loathsome failure of a human rise so high and squirrel away so much. As to a job with Facebook, I think not. This is a payoff for direct communications into the stinky bowels of those that run the stinking pile of plop we call the U.K. government, in my opionion.
Who sets the times for these meetings? Would it not be an idea to have the Dawlish times the same as the other ones so that people who work a 9-5 might get a chance to attend.
Walking along The Strand, around 19:00hrs, last night and a woman was begging in the doorway of one of the shops. What was disconcerting was one of the veteran drunks was hiding behind a car, slightly back and opposite her. I did not notice him skulking there until we had walkied past him towards her. Once upon a time laws were enforced by constabularies and a policeman had a certain amount of ...
High tide!
@leatash and cassandra, thankyou.
Although they see nothing wrong having 1000's of home's built with little to no supporting infrastructure, outstanding. Keep up the great work elected officials.
Zoom in on Naval warship from field above Meadow Park.. Pic taken from Boat Cove. Zoom in from toilets at Boat Cove to Exmouth beach. Used a filter on recently purchased Fuji xp80 camera, something different.
All i see from this is a function he attended, where the guest's had to pay £40 a pop for the privelege, and merely banged on about how bad eveything was. No mention of what he and his fellow West counrty m.p's are doing to sort it...just typical for your average and overpaid m.p. in my opinion. Interesting reading;- ...
Hypothetically when you get to the age that your quality of life requires a lot of assistance/drugs etc and you cannot get around or enjoy your surroundings. Why not commit a crime that requires long term prison time. Now your new home has staff obligied by law to look after you for free. As I say hypothetical, but certainly one avenue. What's are the other choices, pay through the nose to end ...
The sewer should have been in place before the new builds were approved by the planning dep't. They say it was planned for 2025, but how many new houses will be using that 6 inch pipe by 2025. In my opinion, a greedy company like many others putting profit above customer satisfaction. God forbid if they charged milk prices for the water they supply and the crap we send them back. I'm sure ...
@Diana Mond - i was merely using your own words. As to an important thread, yes it is important from the view point of the potential banning of dog's on The Lawn. From your post on this thread (11 June 2018 20:02) you seem happy to stop dog walker's from excercising their dogs on The Lawn, but seem unaware/ignorant to the fact that the potential for attacks on swans and other wildfowl along ...
Not quite the same view this house use to have. Link below on some of the houses for sale and prices... look a lot more 'detached' in the pics of the link. https://www.primelocation.com/for-sale/property/dawlish/southdowns-road/
People with dogs coming to our coastline is a big revenue earner and to ban dogs from all beaches, in my opinion, would be a very blinkered and ignorant act IF the council did implement such an economically disasterous action. As with most restrictions in the U.K. on freedom whether that be speech, movement or just living your life the way you want without negatively effecting those around you. ...
When will the Dawlish jetty get the repairs it so urgently needs. How many urgent maintenance issues are there in and around Dawlish at the moment? Easter bank holiday this weekend and what a state Dawlish is in...Well done Dawlish council for all your hard work......I think not. Yes, I know it is not all Dawlish councils responsibility to actually maintain everything, but at least make a ...
https://www.devonlive.com/news/anger-grief-sadness-off-grid-1373747 So they purchased the land and built on it. Living of the grid with no mountains of tyres or rubbish in site and are now to have their homes torn down. Would have been better for them to have not purchased the land and squatted on it instead and the council would have built them detached houses on the land free of charge I ...
