Certainly a lot of water has come down in the last few hours. I have never seen the fields around {Aller Hill) on the ford and near Aller Farm so flooded. It has pushed the pony and 2 horses very close to the wire fence. Hopefully it will drain soon. Poor image quality due to the weather conditions, but gives u an idea.

(but not on footpaths/pavements) Well from the number of vehicles that DO park on footpaths and pavements I thought it was legal and ok. learn something new everyday.

I doubt anything will be actioned other than the sea wall request. There are a lot more issue on the social support level that needs addressing, but that won't happenany time soon, if at all. based on the previous 2 decades of slow spiralling decline of the area and economy, in my opinion.

Why on earth do we need all these new houses in Dawlish! It's not like they have been built to house many of the less fortunate local people. Which I believe was our snidey governments reason to build millions of new homes around the country in the first place. Not exactly giving much to the green agenda either laying waste to thriving ecosystems and farmland whilst building sub standard ...

Well done and respect for your hard work picking up the litter. Should get a one off payment from the council for doing their work for them. I for one in Dawlish am less than happy with the ever decreasing services that I am having to pay £2657.91 in rates to Teignbridge Council. I am aware of the breakdown of the rates and who get's what percentage, but where have so many services gone!

Nice size plot, I expect it will be snatched up by a developer to build on. Doubt the house and grounds will be there for long. Also it states in the Dawlish Gazette that it has planning approval for an additional four bed building, although no mention of this on the Teignbridge planning site! £1,200,000 sounds a bit excessive considering it's in Dawlish. I can think of a lot more affluent places ...

What amazes me more than anything is there was a police car in Dawlish willing to actually stop in the town. A rare occurrence to be sure.

The government wont be happy until every emergency service is placed in a few central hubs with zero satellite support locations and then it will all be auctioned off to private enterprise to the highest bidder, in my opinion. Just look at how the police force in Devon has slowly been taken away from rural locations. Same seems to go for Banking as well.

I see that Teignbridge decided to not do the run and then just delete it off their schedule. Now have to wait until the 14/01/22, but they still expect their money for the yearly rental of my 2 green bins. Checky fockas.
