During sept work will be carried out day and night, five hours either side of low tide. They will be taking continual deliveries of plant machinery and concrete from Teignmouth docks, drilling foundations, etc. Taken from a letter from network rail dated 27 August 2019.

Anyone else aware the local gp surgery is now charging £40 for the medical questionaire sent to them by Devon police? Came as a bit of a shock considering the same surgery has not charged a fee for the previous 3 permit medical requests. The shotgun permit is £45 and the police do a lot more work for that amount.

The only way to confirm what has really happened is to record the incidents. This is the only evidence the courts will accept.

Ignorant cyclist putting walkers in danger whilst he cycles along the sea wall between The Warren and Dawlish. On occassion I have confronted those ignorant people who cycle along the sea wall only to be verbally abused and in some cases, if it wasn't for my size, physically assaulted. As long as there is no enforcement dickheads will continue to upset the rest of us, same for a lot of issues ...

In the 15 years I have lived in Dawlish the town's essential services have become ever more scarce. It would be better if they actually enforced the PSPO's they currently have, before they expand them. The Dawlish PSPO is a joke. There is blatent abuse off  the PSPO and very rarely does anything get enforced.

Hypothetically when you get to the age that your quality of life requires a lot of assistance/drugs etc and you cannot get around or enjoy your surroundings. The sewer should have been in place before the new builds were approved by the planning dep't. They say it was planned for 2025, but how many new houses will be using that 6 inch pipe by 2025.
