A Dawlish beach goer has told of the moment they nearly 'jumped out of their skin' as an enormous military helicopter rumbled over the beach. The large aircraft was pictured at around 4pm, however it is not clear which model of helicopter it is.

Looks like a Westland Merlin, mainly used by the Navy.

From the pictures it looks like a ZJ118 with BERP IV composite blades.

It's a Merlin.

It's not 'a' ZJ118 but it mght be 'the' ZJ118. It's an aircraft reg number basically.
