have you ever worked on the council or seen what work they do they dont get paid to be on the council in dawlish,its all done of their own back as a daughter of a ex councilor and mayor of dawlish 4 times i might add i know how much they work hard and do alot of behind the scenes work so postive yes i think so dont knock what they do till you actually have a go yourself

we should surport locals shops as these are the shops that surport local people in jobs etc,what really gets to me is that some people think if u own a shop in the town ur loaded that is so untrue i work in a local shop and if one person steals 1 mars bar that the profit for a whole box gone.and when adsda or tesco sells there stuff so cheap is because the bulk buy and half the time the stuff is ...

for ur information user i do know whAt goes on in council meetings as my late dad was mayor of dalwish 4 times on the county council and teignbridge council for over 20 years,so i think i have a bit more insight than u think i have,

im glad you said almost all taxi drivers because there are some who are very helpfull and polite,please dont tie all taxi drivers with the small minority of them who are rude and only think of the money they can make not the service they give if you want a reliable taxi service one 4 taxis is a sure thing if you want to arrive on time and want a service next to non,

as from a parents point of veiw i feel the carnival its self was good far better than teignmouth,but what spoilt it was the teenagers who were underage and very drunk after the carnival we our selfs had to step in and stop about 20 youngsters who were under age how do i know this because most were in my own lads year at school and he not 18 till next year,they were a disgrace to dawlish i called ...

the flats on high street are not council flats they belong to the same people who own the old brewery,and as far as vacant properties stands for council not private u can own 50 houses and its up to u if u rent them out council houses are not as easy to come by as you think,and if you want to know the council dont own any properties any more as they have sold them all to housing assocations

i do sometomes wonder if some of you are adult or kids is this a forum to just slag people off

i have a duaghter at gate house and we have had no letter home saying there is all we had is that there cases in exeter and to watch out for the signs

the smugglers is the best place around dawlish to eat and they good with kids too which is nice to see well done guys keep it up

as i agree that we do need to remember the world wars what about all the other conflicts that have happened since then myself waited over 10 years to have somewhere i could go to remember my brother who was killed in the falklands wars it wasnt untill last year all servicemen and woman that died since the world war 2 war were put on the centaph come they are as worthy as anyone else

we also use dawlish tyres he is honest and very cheap would recommend to anyone
