Many years ago, more than I'd like to think it was, my science teacher once said........ If the earth was an experiment in a science lab it would of been seen as a failure the minute humans where added to the equation ! it took many years for me to fully understand this but how correct he was all those years ago.

If I remember correctly any council must observe the hedgerows regulation act from 1997, which means they have to leave cutting/removing of hedgerows and trees from the 1st of March until the 31st of August, this is for the protection of nesting birds and wildlife. What a "surprise" to read that the DWP has been paid almost £140 million in bonuses over the last 3years with most of this going to senior civil servants ! guess the cut backs don't include the rule makers.
