@Roberta . I thought the Daily Mirror was labour party loving, not the Guardian. but I could be wrong.

@Wondering . Unless talks are successful. Then we get our trains. Once again its the RMT union.
I know this Is late but Anne Marie Morris HELD Newton Abbott seat. Majourity 11,400. One of the Plymouth Mob Alison Seebeck LOST her seat. I was jumping up and down with that news.
@Carer . I totally agree. Hideous is putting it mildly.
It has today closed again due to the same norovirus bug. Both restaurant and hotel have closed.
Was In Barnstaple as well. As for train times probably a fault, has happened down here as well.
@Michaelclayson post(12.48). Well said Michael but unfortunatly that what happens. We should be talking about important issues.
@Lynne .You are correct.
@webmaster . thank you very much.
@Lynne . Exactly. Who would buy a property there? I agree with NR here. I thought that they were retirement homes. I could be wrong.
It Is Moving through tonight and to-morrow and Saturday should have sunny Intervals.
@Lynne . Just a thought but did put your full address in your e-mail to her? If you accidentally forgot she will not answer. just a thought.
@Sandycott . Dawlish station has always been lovely, and well done Margaret and your friends for the flowers.
Happy New year everyone. And may It be a good one with no storms, everybody happy, even the Plymouth Mob. OK I got 2 out of 3 there.
@DJ . You are absolutely correct. She was interviewed on the BBC Breakfast programme, in the rain and mentioned breakwaters.
Dawlish Webcam has Its uses even on Christmas Day.
I hope everybody had a happy Christmas and enjoyed yourself. Sorry I am late but I was elsewhere yesterday.
@Pete . 34 metres is 111 feet. according to Convert Website.
@Judith Chalmers . Well said, that made me laugh actually, they seem to have gone quiet lately. Never mind, they will think up something. Did you see the Torquay video on FB yesterday and my comment afterwards?
Very good programme. Thoughly enjoyed It.
@Ken : @Leatash . Breakwaters was first mentioned by Anne Marie Morris in February this year, and she was all for it. Making the Sea Wall wider would help enormously but this could be done in the future. Everyone knows that It has to be made more resilant for the future.
Michael. Yes It Is a good day, so why dont they now make the Dawlish Sea Wall higher the whole way. Surely that would be a better Idea. Plus Breakwaters. And It would not cost anywhere near the figure given. But the Plymouth MP`S wont like this will they?
@ Judith. Thanks for correcting me.
Very good Video. Well done.
@ZIGGY . Thanks Ziggy for that. Some interesting comments on FB.
@Lynne . I saw that and the bad weather forecast afterwards. Yellow warnings in place.
Judith. One train was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, the rest because of train faults. Also you are spot on with your post. @Lynne , its Wednesday December 3rd.
@Wondering . I agree %100 with you. but NR must make the seawall resillant to winter weather.
@Lynne . I know that there are railway magazines that will probably cover the Dawlish issue later on this year but I do not know of magazines covering civil engineers. There must be some but I dont know the names. By the way can you spot the Dawlish Beach Webcam?
@Lynne . Sorry for delay in replying to your post. I saw a news article on local news programme where that figure was mentioned. There was a spokesman who said this. It was either cut services or increase fares, so they went for the latter. I not that computer savvy, and I dont know how to post links. Sorry.
@Clive . I completely agree with you. The seawall still needs work done to it, and a additional/ alternitive railway is not the answer.
@Thanks Clive for that. Took 3 days for Daily Mail Online to report It!!!!
@Duckileaks . Nor is that or Verity at Ifracombe North Devon.
@Clive . And cannot tell that the sea is choppy. Good picture on Dawlish Beach Facebook page.
@Mcjrpc . Finally, if you go on to Dawlish Beach FB page there is a fantastic picture of the crane.
@Flo / @Lynne . I can vouch that they have lovely meals there. Not that I am over 60. Well not yet.
@Dorian . If you are using IE10 then go up to top right and there is a cog wheel which is settings. Click on that and then click on zoom and you can customise your font size. Click on customise and it goes up in increments of one`s. If your using google chrome on top right there are 3 bars, next to yellow star, on top of each other. click on that and click on zoom. it goes up in bigger increments, ...
@ Andysport . I totally agree with BB and Cassandra post and I would come on here now and again. Just read the posts for the time being.
@roberta . so that means when i go on is i dont have to look for a job. i dont like the sound of that. my jsa advisor has not told me that.
