Voting online is so open to corruption. I too have postal voting due to my mobility issues but I would prefer to vote 'in person' at a polling station, otherwise it takes away the excitement and the personal service. IMO, far too may things are being done online now, doing away with the personal contact and interaction with other people.

I take it then that if Mr Mullone was our MP, he would not go to Westminster and run his constintuancy from his front room and not make his voice heard?
What a joke of a photo on the mid devon newspaper.
Well done to the RNLI crews for rescuing idiots.
The council should hang their heads in shame. A disgrace for sure.
What a shame that we have to rely on this in the 21st century.
Yawn. This story has been knocking around for a few years now.
***It's St. Georges' Day*** Happy Saint Georges' Day everyone.
Wishing him well.
It's just a conspiracy.
Rooney's sentance is a joke.
Nothing new with the lift out of order. It stopped working a few days after it was opened. So much for great British engineering and workmanship!!
And where did you get your 'expert' information? Fakebook, Tik Tok or some conspiracist website?
Let's hope the idiot dog owners don't let their animals off the leash and run amok around them.
All very well, but according to Spotlight last night (Monday) when it was announced, we will be losing the x-ray department. Oh well.
Whatever has happened to people using common sense?
@TRB . I presume that all you want then is a platform where you can moan about everything and anything. If you are not interested in anything happening in Dawlish, events or notices, then why not scroll past those listings. After all, no one is forcing you to read them.
It is unbelieveable that something like this is happening in the 21st century.
Obviously not many questions as it starts and finishes at 19:15!
Lib Dem's. Don't expect too much from them on here as they are far too busy 'sitting on the fence'.
Well done to them.
Pulpit Rock Norway. No fences as people have the sense to stay away from the edge. Yes, it sounds harsh but common sense prevails.
Ummm. Looking at the map, it could be anywhere on this planet. It would be nice to know exactly where it is.
I'm sure that a British based charity would have appreciated the money.
As I had posted before, it's a tragedy for sure, but doesn't common sense tell you NOT to go too close to the edge as there is no fence there? That wall has been like that for over a hundred(?) years, and how many people have lost their lives by falling off?
And the same to you Webmaster. Thank you for all you have done this year in keeping this site running smoothly.
Waste of time as the 'brain dead no common sense' will still buy one for their little darlings then complain when they get hurt in an accident.
A tragedy but totally ridiculous. Doesn't common sense tell you not to go too close to the edge?
Thanks webmaster for keeping us informed. I realised something must have been wrong a few days back and it's still happening. Mind you, there are worse things to worry about that having to sign in again.
How will the local infrastructure cope with all these extra houses and people? How will the surgery cope? It's bad enough getting an appointment now so what will it be like in the future, and how long will it take to get a prescription processed? Long waits ahead for sure.
It seems that prospectors can/will build whatever and wherever they want in these days and no matter how much you protest, it will go ahead. Good ole' tories. Rich get richer and the poor, well, stuff them as they don't care!!!
That is just ridiculous. A town with no banks and soon, no Post Office.
A very good turnout today on the lawn, and those watching from the Strand and footpaths. Well done everyone who was there.
I have seen a few e-scooters being ridden around as well. 1 regularly up Dawlish road Teignmouth, about 0700hrs most mornings, and another going round Sainsbury's roundabout into the new estate on Langdon old land. Aren't they illegal also?
