It's not FREE in any case. The agencies aren't working at this event out of the kindness of their hearts, they're all funded by the taxpayer. And collectively these agencies and Councils aren't improving the situation. The funding just keeps them all in work and contributes to their pensions.
So kind that all these agencies can club together for a slow cooker, air-fryer and electric blanket.
Lib Dem Mayor of Dawlish Rosie Dawson's 'social entreprise' Roots Community Enhancement has just got £60K from the National Lottery for delivering around 5.5 hours of sessions per week. South West Water are making vast profits for polluting our waters... and they give away a few energy saving gadgets. Unbelievable! Disgraceful.
