Fire fighters from Dawlish and Teignmouth were called out deal with a to a 'suspicious' barn fire at Eastdon House, near Starcross, in the evening hours of Saturday. The only thing I can think of is a change in circumstances during the council tax period? They should have really indicated why they were adjusting the amount payable. Give them a call, they are usually quite helpful.

@J Warrener - and this makes it really difficult for those applying for a blue badge. I recently went through the procedure with an elderly family member who is wheelchair bound outside the home. They actually turned him down first time, even though it takes him anywhere up to half an hour to actually get out the car and into the wheelchair. Had a day off today and finally made it into the Exeter for lunch with my husband. Both really enjoyed the food (steak and curry) and the lovely relaxed atmosphere. Great to finally get somewhere within walking distance that we like in Dawlish.

Co-op are trying to bulldoze their way into Ashburton where they aren't wanted too ... I'd be really interested to know Co-ops wealth with all the property they own.

Nothing really to do with this argument but my main worry is how close cyclists are to each other at times. It only takes the one in front to brake suddenly and they'd be all over the road with cars struggling not to hit them. I'm all for cycle paths shared with pedestrians/cyclists.
