Hi Lynne, I would love the smell to be outside instead of in our bathroom, with no window to open. This town is full of you know what. It was the same in the old flat, but the sewer smell was then in the living room.

It's not a case of going for a test if you feel you are sick, testing the population is a way of finding out who has the virus and those that may have had it or if anyone is asymptomatic. My wife and I went online to make an appt and we went last Friday, we had a reply by email on Tuesday that we are clear. Did any of you happen to watch spotlight Friday night about the Air Show being held in Torbay. They reckon 125 thousand people will attend and briing in 7 million pounds into the local community. There is nothing in Dawlish to keep your boys occupied when i say nothing i mean nothing. We have the usual array of Cafe's some stay open longer some close at 3pm. A number of charity shops a couple of betting shops. Our only bank closed in October. However you could join our local shoplifting club which are always looking for new members. This past week has been a field day for the co-op shoplifters. Joints of meat, sandwhich meats by the caseload, bottles of wine,  beer or cider by the case. You would at least think they would wait until the meat has been reduced. So come on down see what you can get. Of course we all suffer with higher prices imposed to make up for loss.

Can't be any more open than posted unless one lives under a rock. But, will clarify for you. In the bandstand, we have what appears to be homeless people and down at the other end, we have the druggies and alcoholics. Other than that what part do you not understand? Also, the town has a major problem with shoplifting, which affects all of us with higher prices.

Well, it would appear that i was wrong about the black bin pick ups. Had an email from the council informing me that the next pick up is June 1st due to the bank holiday. Last pick up was May 17th next pick up June 1st. Upon checking the pickup calendar I was wrong, apologies.

The Lawn is a wonderful open area. Apart from the bandstand it should remain as it is now. The proposed play area will be white elephant that will be no doubt be vandlised. We are lucky to have this open area, I'm surprised that it hasn't be occupied by travellers. If it ever was a least they would have a play area.

There is a certain type of person that lets their dog poop anywhere and it doesn't concern them one bit. You will never get through because that's the way they are. They are cretins of the first order and have no consideration for other people or the environment.
