Although I can see what you mean from your earlier posts, the only thing I can think of is that you chose that as the username when you signed up with them. User 4549, this is most likely due to the way your browser is remembering bits of data you are typing into text boxes. However, it is unusual for any browser to pick up a password from one site and use it on another site especially if it results in the browser revealing the password. I can confirm though that Dawlish.com is an independently owned site and not part of any newspaper company.

Sorry @Fronterman and others, this is not a Dawlish Swan that is missing. The number is a Camborne, Cornwall one, so I guess the swan has gone missing from there? The email address also suggests this but I did not want to publish it without the owner's consent.
