How about locals with pitchforks? I'm sure they'd do it for free.

@elvis presley and my response was to majorp!
i think it may have moved @Cassandra although still in teignmouth.
Not this year. https://www.devonlive.com/whats-on/proposed-teignmouth-dawlish-plans-grounded-1399805
Perhaps we ought to put an immigration plan into effect for Teignbridge. Anyone who has not lived here all their life is deported and access banned to all Teignbridge discussion boards. Should stop the moaning on this site ... (lights touch paper and retreats to safety). Debon Dan for prime minster.
Not everyone is going to agree, that's fine. If you're going to post you have to accept differing views. As soon as you swear at someone you've lost the argument on a discussion board. I don't like the views of some people on here and probably not the ones you're thinking of. Take a break from the site and appreciate that not everyone is a royalist and just because you aren't doesn't make you ...
I wouldn't have expected the country park car park surface to have deterorated quite so quickly.
Hope they come with parking!

Thought this might be useful for people.
thanks @Lynne . i see ironically that the best chance they have of bringing charges is for unnecessary suffering to an animal, which in this case would be the dog.
Someone was asking previously how this could be free to both provider and council. It details this in this report - Neil Blaney, Economy Manager, told the executive on Tuesday morning that it would work by the company who install the network and selling advertising space within an app that businesses can buy into. He said that revenue is generating from that and the future use of the ...
good point @DEEDOODLE - must make sure we add a few signs to make people aware ...
I wonder what businesses will do. Do places like Harrisons go to the bank to cash up or doesn't it work like that anymore?
Thanks Lynne. I think Dawlish has always been more of a day trip type place. People stayed in Dawlish Warren generally and tended to be bucket and space type holidays. I only worked in Dawlish for one year when I was a teenager in the old Sea Chest over somewhere by the Beach Café, can't remember which unit it was now but it wast run by Mary Bealey (sp), an old councillor. I've recently heard ...
Great video, there's some fantastic talent in Dawlish!
Not as far as I'm aware Lynne. I think he may have been ill recently.
The lady on Facebook said they didn't recognise the owner I think but the dog was a staffie called Dougie. She's asked for people to ask around to see if they know who it is.
i have @leatash , it was a joke
There's always your boot ...
What a lovely idea. Wish my kids were going enough, they'd have loved it. There's some great activities for kids. The leisure centre in particular runs some great sessions.
There's some worrying points in this article. Councillors who don't seem up to the job.
Good luck to him
Lots of complaints have been made about the bad management of this to DCC. It's appalling really, you'd think by watching them that they have no idea how to resurface a road or use traffic lights.
Nothing on the water fowl page. Probably the best place to ask.
I've been told its TDC. They are going to let me know what the cleansing team say.
@TheObserver - you're making things up now. i've never implied that.

It would make you a bit wary about taking on the lease wouldn't it.
Not much choice at all for TDC :(
They're talking about changing part of the name/postcode of the infamous road through the new estate
Sainsburys are restructuring and they are reducing the tiers of management. I understand dept manager will have to reapply for their jobs and team leaders roles will be changed.
It's fairly easy to Google these days. https://inews.co.uk/opinion/james-chapman-take-no-deal-brexit-off-table/ Author: James Chapman James Chapman is former director of communications at HM Treasury and chief of staff at the Department for Exiting the EU. Prior to that he was political editor of the Daily Mail (*shudder*)
I care. I care who my ancestors were as this is history. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
@leatash - completely agree. i can't imagine having to do that and know that i wouldn't be able to.
It sounds a better system than the old voice recognition one they had at the train station. Can clearly remember shouting into the phone desperately trying to get it to recognise my registration whilst on the train with it leaving the station! For some reason it was convinced I had a blue Peugot when I didn't!
Following Teignbridge District Councillor Humphrey Clemens’ public outburst at last week’s Town Council meeting, where I consider inappropriate language was used and untrue statements made, I am writing an open letter in response. In September 2014, I started a petition against the proposed compulsory purchase of Warren Farm by Teignbridge District Council. The land was wanted as ‘Suitable ...
The Devon Air Ambulance was called to Dawlish Beach this afternoon after a male suffered spinal injuries after falling 10ft from steps onto concrete below. Coastguard and the Devon Air Ambulance landed on the beach to assess the males injuries where he was then taken by land ambulance to hospital.
