Residents from Cockwood,Eastdon and parts of Dawlish Warren are set to lose the Go2 bus service. As from January 2009 Stagecoach buses will bypass Cockwood and head towards Dawlish on the A379. The buses will then travel into Dawlish Warren as far as the roundabout and then head back towards Dawlish. If the plans go ahead it will affect a lot of people, especially older residents. Two men from Dawlish age 27 and 25 have been arrested on suspicion of stealing a car. A dog handler followed a blue Vauxhall Corsa being driven erratically towards a car park in Newton Abbott at 3.40am yesterday. The passenger tried to walk away but the handler with help from his dog detained the two men until other units arrived. Both men were arrested.
