When the sale of eight infamous railway carriages in Dawlish Warren went under the hammer it was feared they would disappear and a modern monstrosity would be built on the land.

Paul Placito is co-owner of the site along with his wife Abby, her sister Mitzi Stapleton and her husband Chris who live next door to the carriages and also own the amusement arcade opposite and the ice-cream kiosk Bibsy’s.
