A petition to free a jailed body modifier known as Dr Evil has been signed by more than 17,600 people.

Brendan 'Dr Evil' McCarthy, who previously worked as a freelance artist at tattoo studios in Paignton and Dawlish, was sent to prison for 40 months last week.
