The bridge over Shutterton Brook was granted planning permission by TDC a few months back. As I said above, DCC is involved in the building of the bridge plus a bit of the road either side. I understand that the meeting referred to in the first post on this thread was concerned with DCC giving approval for the bridge works to be put out to tender.
WHAT mini budget? Looks like the tories will be looking for new jobs soon. What a complete and utter shambles they are!!!
The A379 Teignmouth Road is blocked in both directions after a crash this afternoon (October 17). According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, there is slow traffic between Holcombe and Dawlish. Read more... ...

This link road has been at least 7 years in the making. And it still ain't built yet! I have just watched the podcast and looked at some of the documents concerning what was agreed at the DCC cabinet meeting (see post above).
