SEVERAL beaches in Devon, including three in Teignbridge, have been hit with a sewage alert after yesterday’s heavy rain. Beaches in Dawlish and Teignmouth are among 17 of Devon’s beaches have been identified by Surfers Against Sewage as locations where sewage has been discharged.
THE HUNT is on for a permanent location for Dawlish’s new banking hub. The temporary facility has opened in Strand Hall at the Strand Centre run by not-for-profit Cash Access UK and is now open five days a week.
When the town gets flooded, the council will blame it on climate change. Nice clear photos @BOO HOO . Documenting these issues will hopefully help hold councils accountable.
would just like to mention in my experience i did hit a pot hole about a year ago and sent a letter with details to the devon cc. But was told that the lady who was dealing with the case after 2-3months, my claim was not valid. Even with the receipt So to exact my response to this jobsworth was not report pot holes.

@Steve . They can't ban the French from fishing in our waters as the UK was sold down the river by the tory government over Brexit.
I went on a cruise once and had a headache. Maybe I should sue the cruise company for that.
Labour councillor Ricky Jones’s 'pre-trial preparation hearing' tomorrow. It will be fun to see how long they can drag this out for and still claim there is no 2-tier justice going on under our new socialist government.
They could ban the French from fishing in our waters until they sort it out. The UK govt has had plenty of leverage over the years, but they have no intention of fixing it because it is by design. They don't work for us, remember. They lie to get our votes and that's about it.
