Just a reminder that, thanks to Lorna Wheaton and her email to BBC Spotlight, a reporter is coming to Dawlish tomorrow (Monday) to see what is happening to the Brook and surrounding area. He will be at the Bandstand at 11.30 with a cameraman and will want to interview a few local people.
Please come along if you can to show the level of disgust we feel at how unkempt the town is looking. The Lawn and Brook are the lifeblood of our town and attract 1000’s of visitors every year. It is imperative these attractions are maintained, otherwise the local traders will be hit hard if the visitors stop coming. I’ve heard several bad comments about how shabby Dawlish is looking.
It’s not only the town centre but also the Manor Gardens, the Newhay and other places as well. Teignbridge must act to ensure Dawlish is not the poor relation in the area.
