Earlier this week, we held a property marking event for maritime equipment in Teignmouth. It was a great success and we marked a total of 35 items including vessels and outboards. We also spoke to a number of people about coastal crime prevention, the signs to look out for and how to report it.
Thank you to everyone who came along (despite the weather!). We will be hosting another event on Tuesday 27 August at Polly Steps Car Park (TQ14 9DG) from 10am onwards. If you're able to make it, please do come along to get your maritime property marked for free - it's an effective deterrent for opportunist thieves and it also helps us to reunite stolen goods with their rightful owner.
We'd also like to say a big thank you to Teignmouth Harbour Commission, ABP Ports, MMO and the Banner Van for supporting the event.
