GREEN-FINGERED growers at Dawlish Gardens Trust are preparing to open to the public for the summer season. The plant shop officially opens on Monday March 17. Organisers are hoping visitors will go along to explore the ‘beautiful’ collection of plants, along with handcrafted woodwork including planters, bird boxes, hedgehog boxes, bee boxes, and more.
PARENTS and the town council have reacted angrily after human excrement was discovered at a children’s play park. According to Dawlish Town Council, this is not the first time human defecation has happened at the popular Manor Gardens play park.

HELP was on hand for Dawlish residents struggling with the cost of living crisis. Teignbridge CVS organised an event at the Strand Centre to provide help and advice. Various organisations took part to offer information and guidance about energy costs, medical needs, food support, housing and money and debt.
Three areas in Devon, Dartmouth , Torquay and Teignmouth all saw reductions in house prices. Despite these house price reductions, other areas in Devon such as Dawlish and Salcombe are thriving with increases of up to £20k on homes. Dawlish had the highest increase of 7% while Salcombe had a 4.4% rise.
