er........all this money that the developers are spending. Would that be out of the goodness of their hearts or because they have to make such financial contributions as a condition of their being able to make a profit from developing this land?

The land at Gatehouse Farm was allocated by Teignbridge District Council within its Local Plan as a ‘high-quality landmark development’ for 860 new homes, which subsequently received outline planning permission for around 409 new homes in July 2020. WALKERS in Dawlish are up in arms as part of the sea wall is closed at the same time as an adjacent footpath. A Devon village primary school has been forced to close for the day after being burgled. Starcross Primary School was targeted by thieves at some point over the weekend. It has not been confirmed what was stolen but it is believed to be electrical equipment. Over the Christmas holiday break, Gatehouse Primary School in Dawlish was broken into.
