Someone in Dawlish's Posts

At last we have a new taxi firm in Dawlish!!!!!! I used them yesterday and the man was really nice and chatty, makes a change from the whispering Dawlish Taxi driver! The Taxi name is 'Biggies' and their number is 01626 86 38 58 It is about time Dawlish taxis had some competition! Well done to Mr Biggie for taking them on. He was also slightly cheeper than Dawlish Taxis!

There are not that many forigners, in fact I very rarely see any.......

Interesting to note that on the BBC Devon website today, the disappearance of the swans is apparently to do with the Dawlish Water being Silted up!!!! So, nothing to do with the dogs at all!!! How can it be dog attacks anyway, no dog is allowed off the lead on the lawn and I cannot imagine any dog owner would stand there allowing their dog to attack a swan or any other bird for that matter whilst ...

Not sure about cleanliness but apparently there are herds of jellyfish in our shores at the moment..........

So the CCTV's are working then!!!! Waste of money.......

The Railway Inn does a fantastic roast on their £2.50 menu. One plateful could feed at least 2 people the portions are that big! Loads of fresh veg and great meat.

I have to agree with the comments made earlier. Just looking through the forums posted I am quite disgusted by the language used in some of them. It is totally unneccesary and shows Dawlish to be quite an unpleasant place to live. Particularily the language in the forum discussing the Old Brewery Bar!
