New Taxi Firm in Dawlish
At last we have a new taxi firm in Dawlish!!!!!! I used them yesterday and the man was really nice and chatty, makes a change from the whispering Dawlish Taxi driver!
The Taxi name is 'Biggies' and their number is 01626 86 38 58
It is about time Dawlish taxis had some competition! Well done to Mr Biggie for taking them on. He was also slightly cheeper than Dawlish Taxis!
Does any one know what sort of wages John Partridge pays his staff.

I have always been a firm believer that friendliness, happiness and courtesy costs absolutely nothing, and it certainly makes my day much nicer and, I hope, for the people I drive!
After all, you are all paying my wages and for that I am grateful, so why on earth should any taxi driver be miserable?

I offer discounts for pre-booked work, the earlier you book, the cheaper I am!
My normal hours are 8am to 8pm, my night time work (after 8pm) is on a pre-booked basis, and because of this I am very competitively priced, so if you know what you are doing in advance - ring me for a quote!
I also offer Airport Transfers (Exeter Airport £50 return, anytime & Bristol Airport £150 return, anytime)
Finally, don't forget my "5 for 4" deal, where you pay for 4 local trips and get your 5th trip free 'everytime'. So give me a try! You do have a choice!

good idea about the 5 for 4 trips how ever what if the 4 trips are from say coop to coronation ave then trip 5 is to torquay as you know people want something for nothing if they can it.
I covered that one with the card that gets stamped each time, it states the trip must be of equal distance. Thanks for mentioning it though. Look forward to seeing you all!

There is another taxi company opened now as well, One4Cabs. I used them today. Lovely new car, lovely lady driver - an altogether pleasurable journey. Would reccommend them (888158).

Booked one4 taxis yesterday, very impressed with service, blonde lady driver very friendly, cheaper than local taxi firm I usually used, it was a real pleasure to get in a taxi which was new and clean......unlike some of the competitors, and the driver actually spoke to me instead of just driving with the occasional grunt!!!!!
very impressed with this new company ran by friendly and professional staff, not only are they very reasonably priced and efficient but they also have very new and clean vehicles. these little things make a big difference and wont be using any other taxi service in dawlish again. so glad dawlish has finally got a taxi service u dont dred using! definatly come highly reccommened give em a try an your see what i mean.
i was reccommended this new taxi firm by my mate andy, and wasnt dissappointed they were really friendly, and reminded me how taxi services used to be. they were on time and the taxi fare was very reasonable, they have my vote and if they carry on the way they are im sure they will be very busy, i think other taxi services in dawlish are going to have some strong competition! good luck guys but dont think your going to need it :-)
one4 taxi service is such a nice change to taxis in dawlish, there a pleasure to use and this is one taxi service that actually deserves a tip which is rare, a very friendly lady driver drove a nice new vehicle and she didnt loose a wheel when she pulled up to get me (unlike some other taxi firms in dawlish!)give them 10 out of 10
Hi guys interesting to hear about One4 taxis but Dawlish Taxis and their !reputation! are not the only other taxi firm in Dawlish. For 20 years my family have used Bryan Vowden of Holdencars and have enjoyed friendly, very reliable and efficent service, so you always have a choice and dont have to put up with bad service and dirty cars Try 865566 thoroughly recommended
Glad someone mentioned Bryan Vowden I am in business in Dawlish and always use him for my customers because I know he can be relied on and gives excellent service, use him personally as well, its good to get into a clean car that turns up on time and isnt going to breakdown or loose a wheel (heard about that one as well)
Hello, i just thought i,d mention, that although i dont need to use taxis to get around locally, i do use taxis for my airport trips, i have recently used Biggies for my journeys and Andy was great, on time, good prices and very pleasant and i would recommend him to anyone.
Fantastic service- reliable, friendly and clean cars. In a completely different league in comparison to Dawlish Taxis- did anyone see the wheel fall off of that 6-seater outside the Lansdowne!? Hilarious!
