Three local organisations were presented with 'Outstanding With Loneliness' (OWL) awards at a town council meeting this week for their efforts to reduce loneliness in the area. The tree was felled earlier this year after it was discovered to be in a dangerous condition. The mature horse chestnut tree on Dawlish Lawn had been monitored over several years and was found to be almost dead. DAWLISH marked Ukraine’s Independence Day last Wednesday with a simple ceremony at the Piazza.
