Ah! So that's what was causing traffic to tailback up along Exeter Road as far as the hairpin bend. Not easy to get out of The Strand around about lunch time today. Not easy at all. We took one look at the traffic and changed our intended direction of travel.

Rock Pool Cafe
26 May 2013

Rock Pool Cafe is officially opening tomorrow (Bank Holiday Monday). 10.00am There is a a full page advert about the opening on page 27 of this week's Dawlish Post. If you look to the bottom left of the page you will see a picture advertising the cafe. It says that if you cut out that picture it can be used as a coupon to get 20% off any purchase at Rock Pool Cafe on Bank Holiday Monday.

There's a sign been put up by the entrance. It says "Farm Shop open 6th July".

Went by it today (Shutterton Bridge end) and............it's open!

Is it in the public domain yet who the new principal is? Has it gone out in a college newsletter or anything similar?

Okay. I/we await to see what, if anything, gets proposed.

The change to route 2 means that, instead of taking the sizeable deviation to serve Dawlish Warren, new routes from Exeter and Torquay will start and finish at Dawlish Warren, ...

and this is what the newsletter says about parking on The Strand "Once finished, there will be 20 parking spaces (including 2 disabled) along The Strand which will benefit from 30 minutes free parking. After 12 noon, there will be a further 6 spaces in the loading bay near Lloyd Maunders. In addition to these spaces, there will be 3 spaces for collection / drop-off outside the Co-Op. At the ...
