That's amazing, considering how many clutches they have lost so far this year.  The females need a lot of calcium to produce the shells but somehow they've managed it.  Well done them.

We rented this house for six very enjoyable months when we first came to Dawlish, in April 2000, before we bought a place of our own.  Nice to see someone is still taking care of it.  It must be one of the oldest houses in Dawlish.

As a 75-year-old who is 'shielding' atm, I'm with HuwMatthews2 on this one.

Yes, I could hear it, and I live on the West Cliff.  Must have been hell for people who live up that end of town (unless they were at the party, of course).

It was glorious down there this morning, beautiful warm sunshine, calm sea - and good to see the black cygnets still doing well. Just as BEE9 says, makes you glad to live here.
