%u26A0%uFE0F As of Thursday 13th October 2022, Barton Surgery is making some changes to its telephone system.
The telephone number remains the same, 01626 888877, however from Thursday when you telephone the surgery you will be presented with options to help direct you to the most appropriate person.
The new options are:
Appointments: If you want to arrange or cancel an appointment select option 1.
Prescription queries: Please phone after 9.30 a.m. and select option 2. Alternatively, you can sign up to the NHS app to order prescriptions and get test results.
Prescription requests are processed by us within 48 hours and sent to your nominated pharmacy. You should contact the pharmacy to find out if your medication is ready to collect. Please note we are unable to take prescription requests over the telephone.
For test results please phone between 5.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. selecting option 3
If you have a query regarding a referral, please phone after 9.30 a.m. selecting option 4
Hold for any other queries.

From experience, give it 2 weeks then it might be ready!!!

Bad luck Carer.  I get prescriptions regularly from Barton and never have to wait more than two days.

If you are talking about boots pharmacy they are short staffed and under constant pressure to try and deliver.They do the best the can under the circumstances notwithstanding the abuse some individuals take from  the public.Instead of complaining move pharmacy if your not happy
