Bet your bottom dollar when I get to 60, some asshole in the government has raised this limit to 65 or even 70 before these benefits apply.
Stumpy's Posts on Dawlish Discussion
You cannot possibly get away with saying things like that on this forum!! Those girls should at least be allowed to keep their pants on surely. They would have to be fairly trim up top aswell otherwise when they lean over to scoop items from the window, food might become contaminated! About a year ago a lovely tall blonde was a waitress in the Dawlish grill.Could have been a local and she had a ...
Nope.Dogs will continue to crap and their owners will continue to do crap all about it.
The boulders/rocks were laid somewhat later I think. There's a plaque on the wall somewhere saying that these 'ere rocks were declared open by Prince Umbopa Umbopa.
Zoe and Alex, I think you will find reward posting is a wind up. Don't dwell on it too much! I myself am a true cat lover by the way, I've even named myself after one!
Stumpy callin'. Stumpy callin'. Yep, its me.I still tune in once or twice a week but sadly my input is lacking. Life is so dull at the moment. I'm still waiting for that fone call or letter or something from some gorgeous rich bitch that wants to spend her inheritance on me! However, I did receive a Blondie calendar at Christmas. My God, some of those pictures of you are fantastic.Oh, hang on a ...
Apologies! I thought Rumpelstiltskin was a fable character who slept for one hundred years. That's why I quoted him in my posting, because it had been months since I had written. Wrong! Rumpelstiltskin did nothing like that. I will now go back to my deep sleep.
This is not the end Neither is it the beginning of the end But it is the end of the beginning. Or is it? 'Someone help me, help me, Help me pleeeeeeessse Is the answer up above.................'? I've tried to talk on this really brilliant Dawlish website. Something interesting, topical,Funny, rude, dirty, even 'Something stupid.......... ' 'Something old, something new, something 'boring' Something ...
Actually, I've just thought of three interesting subjects that'll bring the postings flooding in. 1) Bow Windows.(The state of) 2) Dog Mess. (The state of) 3) Dawlish. (The state of) Talking of dogs (which we weren't) I've also just read two jolly good books.(Jolly - now there's a word not often used). (Please excuse all the brackets!) Dog Pooh In & Around Dawlish by Chris Rap Dog Mess On The ...
Ahh.Lunchtime. Doo Dee Doo Dee Doo Dum Dee Dum Dee Dum Doo Dee Doo Dee Doo Hello, is anyone out there? Is anybody alive? Hello!!! Here's a poem I wrote years back when I worked in a large drawing office. I can relate this to Dawlish. Sad time for all mankind The summer is melting away so fast Harvest and autumn will soon be past Where does it go, I just don't know How I long for the sun and the ...
Hmmmm. Yes, Well. See, its this young lady in the flat opposite. She will open the curtains to her bedroom window each morning wearing nothing but a smile. Puts me right off, it does. I just can't bear to look.........................away.
To spread the net wider what about resorts in North Devon. How do they compare to the South? People I've spoken to think Ilfracombe is down market although I quite like it. Woolacombe is boring, just for the surfers, no character at all. Combe Martin is pleasant enough and because of their dramatic locations, Lynmouth will always attract tourists, so will Clovelly. Barnstaple & Bideford, can't ...
Perhaps the lack of hotels, B & B's, and Holiday flats in Dawlish is its appeal to many people, with the Holiday parks being in Dawlish Warren. Very few tourists about during the week so never gets crowded. Just the day trippers at weekends. Dawlish is what I call a Low key resort.
Don't know about you but young mums really annoy me. They pay absolutely zilch into the system (ie never work so never pay taxes or national insurance contributions), yet get every benefit that is going. In a roundabout way they get benefits for having had sex!!! Worse still, they don't have to pay a penny of it back. Such is life. Ever felt embarrassed when you tell people you only have a holiday ...
See, its all started again. It seems impossible now to have topical conversations without interruptions and guff about grammar and spelling! There is always going to be people in this world better educated than yourself, just like there will be people less educated. That's the way life is. Just like there is someone out there with more money, and somebody with less money, than yourself. Luckily, ...

Blonde joke. A young blonde lass from the sticks went for a job at her local riding stables. The vacancy was for a stable girl. The first question she was asked at the interview was: 'Have you ever shoe'd a horse before luv? 'No, can't say that I have.' replied the blonde, 'But I told one to f*** off once'!! I've adapted that one slightly.Think it was a Jethro joke.
Not sure whether they sell DVD's in Dawlish, but if its an 'orrible day and raining stair rods go and buy Shrek and Shrek 2.I guarantee it'll make you laugh.I bought them at Xmas.Scenes in Shrek 2 such as the cat fur ball scene in the forest, and donkey (Eddie Murphy) being bored on the way to Never never land are brilliant. Also Pinnochio dancing and shouting 'I'm a real boy'.(They rank alongside ...
Hang on a minute! Not that knowledgeable.Don't you spell it KNOWLEDGE?
Actually I'm even older than that.It was called a Secondary Modern school. Can you believe that!
Dawlish eh? Hello to all you zombies living in Dawlish-or should that be not living? I've written several times on this discussion page using nom de plumes but have now decided to stick to one name only - Stumpy. Thats a name my daughter calls a cat that lives near us which has got short legs and a fat body - bit like me actually. So from now on, I'm going to stick with that name.So its cheerio ...
