I am trying to trace a family that lived in Dawlish Warren during the 60's. The family name was Proctor, comprising of 2 brothers , 1 sister and an elderly father. They lived at Mt Pleasant Road. Any information in helping me locate them would be gratefully received. Thankyou

If you would like to recycle your unwanted old christmas cards. They can be taken to W.H. Smiths or St Gregorys church. They will then be given to various charity's and re-made into new cards for next Christmas.

Firefighters had to force their way into a South Devon nightclub after smoke and flames were seen coming from the second floor of the premises. "Shop front" police stations could be provided in two Devon seaside towns to give the public easy access to the police. Dawlish and Teignmouth are being discussed as possible locations for the new look stations, which would house local officers and an inquiry officer. The police are considering long terms plans to introduce the shop front stations across the region.

A south Devon resort’s tourist information centre has had to close after being hit by vandals. Damage to the facility at Dawlish is estimated to be around £5,000 and it will remain closed until repairs are carried out. Hi A funny thing happened to me when we stayed at Welcome family park last year. After downing a large amount of the amber stuff my missis managed to get me on the dance floor. After a few minutes of swaying to the music my legs began to give way, but i think this was due to the beer !!!
